The Kravarščica rises in Gladovec Kravarski below the Severić summit at an elevation of approximately 200 metres above sea level. From there, it flows for about 31 kilometres before joining the Kupa.

Nature
The Vukomeričke gorice consist of gentle, relatively low hills crossed by the valleys of numerous permanent and intermittent streams. As gently elevated low mountain country, they reach an average elevation of approximately 200 metres and extend for about 35 kilometres in a northwest–southeast direction.
The natural area includes the Natura 2000 site “Gornji Hruševec – potok Kravarščica”, which encompasses approximately 315 metres of the Kravarščica stream. It is considered an important area for habitat type CST 6430, humid tall-herb fringe communities along riverbanks and forest edges.
Orientation
Gladovec Kravarski is connected to the municipal road network via the local road L-31200. The road runs from Ž-3155 to Gladovec Kravarski for 0.7 kilometres. State road D-31 and county roads ŽC 3155 and ŽC 3116 also pass through the Municipality of Kravarsko. Local roads connect settlements that are not located on the state roads with these transport routes.
The corridor of the Zagreb–Sisak motorway runs along the northeastern boundary of the Municipality of Kravarsko. There is an interchange near Podvornica, providing a quick connection towards Zagreb.
Routes and Activities
The Kravarščica–Gornji Hruševec Eco-Ethno-Sports and Recreation Park includes a building with a hall and covered stage, an equipped football pitch, a gazebo and a children's playground. Kravaščica Park is located on the road between Velika Gorica and Pokupsko.
The cycling route “Biciklom na Kupu (VG–Kravarsko–Pokupsko)” is rated difficulty level 5 out of 5 because of its length and numerous climbs. It runs through the Vukomeričke gorice and allows cyclists to continue by bicycle to the Kupa for swimming. The Green Route runs from Kravarsko via Ključić Brdo, Kozjača and Strezojevo to Donji Hruševec.
Culture and Tradition
The parish church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Kravarsko is located in the centre of the settlement on a 240-metre-high hill overlooking the surrounding valleys.
The Vincekovo tradition includes the first pruning of the vines, the blessing of the grapevine and pouring wine over the vine. On 23 January 2026, more than 70 people took part in the Vincekovo celebration in the vineyard of the Matušin family in Kravarsko. At the 2026 Vincekovo celebration, the vineyard and the winemakers were blessed.
In 2014, “Dragi naši bregi” was held for the third consecutive time as a May Day event in Kravaščica Park in Gornji Hruševec. The event programme listed “Dragi naši bregi” as an ecotourism, culinary and musical event in the Kravarščica Eco-Ethno-Sports and Recreation Park in Gornji Hruševec.
