Karanac's Ulica zaboravljenog vremena is officially designated as a cultural asset and comprises an ethnographic collection housed in seven old barns. Historical crafts such as weaving, carpentry, pottery, cooperage and blacksmithing are preserved there, along with an inn.

The “Street of Forgotten Time” collection in Karanac comprises 847 objects and is registered as Croatian cultural heritage. The existence of Karanac's Reformed Church is documented in the village as early as 1576 at the latest. Donje polje-Prosina is listed as an ancient archaeological site.

Cycling

The Karanac–Kneževi Vinogradi–Kamenac–Karanac cycling route starts at the intersection of Kolodvorska and Teslina streets in Karanac, passes through Kneževi Vinogradi and Kamenac, and returns to Karanac.

The cycling route through the Belje vineyards starts in Karanac, climbs through the vineyards towards Bansko brdo, and leads back to Karanac. The Vina Belje viewpoint is one of the possible resting places along the way.

The Svijetli dvori winery in the centre of Karanac includes a wine-tasting room and a vinotheque. Rides in original rural carts are possible in Karanac.
