Transport history

The Budimpešta–Kotoriba–Čakovec–Pragersko railway line began operating in 1860, was the first railway built on Croatian soil and ran through Donji Kraljevec.

Natural environment

The Municipality of Donji Kraljevec is included in the Međimurje section of the Mura–Drava Regional Park.
