In the centre of Brinje, a stone bridge built in 1801 crosses the Gate-Jaruga stream on Jozefinska Road. The bridge features a sundial and a stone sphere. Near the centre of Brinje, at the foot of Humac Hill, stands the Gothic Chapel of St. Vid. It dates from the 14th century and preserves stone coats of arms associated with the Frankopan and Divinski families.

Brinje’s permanent collection of folk heritage presents more than 1,200 objects from domestic life and the areas of food, clothing, crafts, education, customs and tools. It also includes further aspects of the local material culture. Advance notice is required for visits.
