Culture

The Chapel of Saint Catherine on Kapelščak is listed as a preventively protected cultural asset. It was built in 1814 by Bishop Maksimilijan Vrhovac for the nearby spa and serves as a parish church.

Bethlehem Cave in the park of the Parish Church of St Catherine houses a permanent exhibition of nativity scenes and the tomb of Christ.

The Mali Ulični Festival, held in summer, is a street art event featuring performances, workshops and music.

Trails

Vladimir Horvat built the 500 stone steps of Horvatove Stube by hand between 1946 and 1953.

The Kamenjak Historical and Educational Trail is 1,200 metres long and has an elevation difference of 87 metres.

Along the Kamenjak Historical and Educational Trail there are rest areas and information boards about local biodiversity; the trail can also be used for outdoor school activities.

The Kamenjak Historical and Educational Trail leads to the Galženjak oak, a protected natural monument associated in local oral tradition with the peasant revolt of 1573.

Horvatove Stube can be reached from Pila in Stubičke Toplice via a one-hour hike.

Cycling

The Stubičke Toplice cycling route is 10 kilometres long. It is an easy circular route that starts in the centre of Stubičke Toplice.
