The Ljudevit Gaj Museum is located in the birthplace of Ljudevit Gaj at Gajeva 14. On display are period furniture, portraits of Gaj and his family, as well as reproductions of manuscripts, printed works, books, brochures, newspapers and magazines associated with his work.

Krapinafest is an annual festival of religious music organized by the Franciscans. The Glumački Festival in Krapina takes place every year over three weekends after Easter.
