In Prkos lies Prkos–Gradina, an archaeological hillfort located about 900 metres south of the village, on the northern slopes of a hill above the Gliboki stream. The pottery found on the surface points to an earlier settlement phase dating from the Late Bronze Age. The site is documented as a possible medieval fortification and may have been connected with the medieval estate of Herbortija; its exact dating and historical function remain unclear without archaeological excavation. Prkos–Gradina is situated at an elevated position overlooking the valley of the Gliboki stream and its tributary Medenjak. The site is documented as being of landscape and historical-topographical interest.

Places of interest in nearby Rasinja include Inkey Family Castle, the parish church of the Holy Cross, the remains of Old Town Rasinja, and traces of the Opoj Templar settlement on Budim Hill.

Nature

Lake Rasinja, on the outskirts of Rasinja, is associated with angling tourism. It is surrounded by meadows, forests and vineyards and covers 35 hectares. The Rasinja fishponds are associated with birdwatching; sightings include grey and great egrets as well as other wetland birds. A 300-year-old pine forest there is described as a nesting area.
