According to the spatial plan of Kamanje, the Church of Saint Philip in Reštovo is to be added to the Croatian Register of Immovable Cultural Heritage. The Chapel of Our Lady in Reštovo is considered immovable cultural property of local significance and is protected under the spatial plan of Kamanje.
Restoration work approved for 2026 is being carried out on the Church of Saint Philip and Saint James in Reštovo.
In 2024, Reštovo hosted Kestenijada, a chestnut festival. The programme also included the storytelling and stage performance “Pričam ti priču” for children and adults.
Landscape and nature
Vodenica is located in the immediate vicinity of Reštovo. Oštrc and Oklinak are situated in the surrounding area, while Trdinov Vrh lies in the wider regional surroundings of Reštovo. Pleterje is also located in the wider regional surroundings.
In the municipal context, Vrlovka is a tourist-equipped cave protected as a geomorphological natural monument. For Vrlovka, a 330-metre-long underground visitor trail is described, passing formations such as curtains, cascades, stalagmites and stalactites.
Cycling route
On its recommended direction between Kostanjevac and Sošice, Karlovac County Cycling Route 15 passes through Reštovo. It is a 49-kilometre circular route connecting Zagreb and Karlovac counties. The route requires good fitness, as it includes challenging climbs, including an ascent of approximately 800 metres towards Kordići Žumberački.

According to its own description, Seosko domaćinstvo Sablić offers dishes made from produce from its own farm and nearby farms, prepared according to family and regional recipes.
