Culture

At the entrance to Krapets, a complex brings together a church, a monument, the municipal cultural center, and a ceremonial hall.

The Krapets war memorial was erected in 1922 with donations from local families. Its four sides bear the names of the fallen, the donors, and the builders. The monument is a four-meter-high truncated pyramid crowned by a limestone cross.

The Orthodox church of Krapets is a rectangular building with a single nave and a single dome, as well as an apse and a vestibule. It was consecrated on November 9, 1996, by Kalinik, the Metropolitan of Vratsa. In August and September 1997, young students from the Academy of Arts painted its frescoes.
