Obedinenie is home to the Church of St. Archangel Michael, an active parish church built between 1871 and 1873 through the voluntary work of the village’s Christian residents. It was consecrated on 8 November 1878 and is regularly visited by local residents.

The investigated Thracian sanctuary of Artemis-Bendis is located in or near Obedinenie. It is associated with votive tablets depicting Artemis as a huntress riding a stag or a hind.

The late antique fortress of Goliamo Gradishte is also located nearby, approximately 4.1 km south of Obedinenie in the locality of Goliamo Usoe. It was part of a pair of Roman fortifications built to protect the road from Novae to Nicopolis ad Istrum. The surviving traces include parts of two fortress walls and buried foundations.
