Miykovtsi: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

Hiking trails from Miykovtsi lead to clearly designated destinations. A route from Miykovtsi to the Bukovets Hut takes about two and a half hours. Culture

Miykovtsi is home to the stone-built Church of St. Michael the Archangel, which was built in 1894.

Nature

Immediately outside Miykovtsi, south of the town sign, there are riverside picnic areas along the Borushchitsa River with benches, tables, and barbecue facilities. The Borushchitsa River near Miykovtsi can be used for swimming in summer. The area around Miykovtsi contains numerous wild herbs and mushrooms. Miykovtsi has children's camps and Green School programs.

Trails

The Miykovtsi–Chumerna Hut–Chumerna Summit route is listed among the marked and maintained hiking trails designated by the municipality. Route No. 1 is a mountain bike route that climbs from Miykovtsi to the Chumerna Hut and returns along a steep, technical trail. It begins at the more westerly of at least two parking areas on Miykovtsi's main road.

The summit of Chumerna is 1,536 meters high and lies on the hiking route from Miykovtsi, 30 minutes beyond the Chumerna Hut. The hiking route from Miykovtsi to the summit of Chumerna initially follows a gravel road beside the Boroshtitsa River. After this first gravel section, it leads into the forest and becomes steeper along the ridges. After about an hour and a half, it passes a meadow with a hunting tower and a feeding station.

Winter

Miykovtsi has a small ski slope with a ski lift. The small ski slope in Miykovtsi also has a ski room.
