DÅlgopol is home to the Historical Museum of Dalgopol, housed in a purpose-built building in the town center. It preserves material collected in Dalgopol and the neighboring municipalities and dates back to 1948. The museum presents archaeology from the Neolithic period through the Middle Ages, as well as an ethnographic exhibition. The wider regional surroundings of Dalgopol include Karakazaldzhik, Devnenski Izvori, Avren Community Sports Field, and Sakartepe; Bulgarian Orthodox Church, Sadovo is also located there. The surrounding area of Dalgopol also includes Provadiyski Mineralen Izvor.
Transport Connections
The municipality of Dalgopol is traversed by the Provadia–Aitos road via the Aitos Pass. The Varna–Sofia railway line also runs through the municipality, with a branch towards Shumen.
