Nature

Geographical Location

Veshkata is located near Vishnevo. Kazal, Aladag, and Sveti Ilia are situated in the surrounding area of Vishnevo.

Hiking

At the starting point of the Vishnevo trail, there is an information board, a rest area, and a nearby freely flowing spring of drinking water. The route has a maximum elevation difference of approximately 400 meters. There are two variants of the trail, differing in length and difficulty.

The Vishnevo–Galyabovo–Devil's Bridge eco-trail begins in Vishnevo and leads 12 kilometers to Devil's Bridge; on foot, the route takes approximately four hours. It passes through forest and coniferous vegetation, over rocky areas, and past archaeological remains at Chukata na Gidika. The trail leads to Devil's Bridge, a three-arched bridge built between 1515 and 1518 and designated a cultural monument in 1984.

Culture

The Svetlina cultural center in Vishnevo was founded in 1953 and combines artistic and library activities with Rhodope singing and dance groups. This also includes a children's folk dance group. The library contains more than 3,600 books and offers free internet access.
