Kostievo: Holiday Apartments and Holiday Homes

The Little Cormorant Roost–Plovdiv protected area extends along the Maritsa River into the Kostievo area and protects a habitat used by the Pygmy Cormorant for resting and gathering during migration. Birdwatching at Little Cormorant Roost is possible from the end of September until the end of March or beginning of April. The birds can be observed especially shortly before dusk, when they return to their roost.
