Nature

From the Vidima district in Apriltsi, the Vidimsko Praskalo ecological trail follows the Praskalska River through old beech forest to the 80-metre-high Vidimsko Praskalo waterfall. The trail includes five wooden bridges, two viewpoints and explanatory material; the hike is 13.9 kilometres long.

The Vodnite Dupki trail also begins in Apriltsi’s Vidima district and leads towards the Vodnite Dupki cave. Along the route, there are explanations about caves, cave fauna, the Northern Dzhendem Reserve and the landscape; the stated route length is approximately 13.90 kilometres.

Troyanski Manastir, Rusalka, Grebena and Sadinata are located in the surrounding area of Apriltsi. The wider regional area also includes Raisko Praskalo and Central Balkan National Park.
