Culture and History

The preserved Church of the Monastery of Saint Dimitrios in Boboshevo has been fully restored. The monastery was founded at the beginning of the 10th century; Saint Ivan of Rila began his monastic journey there. The nearby medieval Church of Saint Theodore in Selishte near Boboshevo was built between the 10th and 12th centuries. In the center of Boboshevo, there is also the Nikifor Bibin House Museum, a permanent museum collection.

Nature

The Struma is the most important watercourse in Boboshevo Municipality. The southern foothills of the Konjavska Mountains in the municipality are locally called the Pogled Mountains. More than half of the lower section of the Skrinski Gorge of the Struma lies within Boboshevo Municipality.

The Yana Hut is located in Boboshevski Ruen, in the St Dimitar locality. It offers a tourist dining room and a kitchen. From Boboshevo, it can be reached via more than 4 km of asphalt road.
