The old settlement is described as a place with two churches: St Nedelya and St Maria. A road above Dzhigurovo leads to the old church. The school in Dzhigurovo was built at night in 1911 after its construction had been prohibited.
Village Life
A village festival was scheduled to take place in Dzhigurovo in June 2024, with Chitalishte Prosveshta 55 designated as the organizer.
A fountain beneath Dzhigurovo’s plane tree is described as a village attraction. In Bulgaria’s “Tree with Root” competition, Dzhigurovo’s plane tree was one of the ten finalists in 2014.
