The history of the village goes back a long way. Mining in the Siflitzgraben shaped the area’s economy for centuries from the late Middle Ages onward. One of the notable buildings is the late Gothic Wallnerhaus in Lind, which dates from around 1500 and is a protected monument. Maria Hilf was formerly the chapel of Unterlind Castle and was consecrated in 1347. The Chapel of the Visitation of Mary in Fellbach is a late Baroque building with a 3/8 apse, which was altered in the late 19th century.
