The Glödnitz charnel house is part of the church complex. It is a late Gothic, three-storey circular building dating from around 1500. The official responsible for the district was based there; the Glödnitz administrative district was responsible for the Glödnitz Valley for almost 400 years and included the collection of levies and the allocation of compulsory labour.

Further evidence of regional religious traditions can be found at the Görtschach Cross. It is a broad wayside shrine with a life-size crucifix, which probably dates back at least to the 18th century. To this day, a procession makes its way on the Monday of the Rogation Days from the Glödnitz parish church to the Görtschach Cross.
