For a stay in Sakarya, Adapazarı offers a range of themes to consider when planning your trip: the expansive green space of Kent Park and places that tell the story of trade and urban history. The Adapazarı Ticaret Müzesi, Tarihi Uzun Çarşı and Tarihi Orhan Cami each offer a different perspective. Whether you would rather walk and cycle in the park or explore the history of trade may therefore play a part in choosing your holiday apartment.

Green Space and Activities at Kent Park

Kent Park covers a green area of 160,000 square metres. Around 4,500 square metres of paths are intended for walking. The natural surroundings and trees have been preserved, and the entire surface has been landscaped with greenery. There is also a 14,000-square-metre pond. Together, these details give a more concrete picture of the park: green space, paths and water are all part of the place described.

At Kent Park, you can walk along the Çark Deresi and cycle in the park. These are two different ways to spend time in the greenery: on foot along the stream or cycling in the park.

Trade History in the Museum and Bazaar

The Adapazarı Ticaret Müzesi welcomes school students, researchers, people interested in history and many visitors from other cities. Its subject matter includes the trade history and commercial culture of Adapazarı, the tradition of the merchant’s stall, entrepreneurship and economic development. These themes offer several ways to explore the history of trade: from the social standing of the merchant’s stall to the city’s economic development.

The museum is housed in the building of the Adapazarı İslam Ticaret Bankası, which is described as the first national private bank. Tarihi Uzun Çarşı also brings trade history into focus, but from a different perspective: the bazaar dates back to the Ottoman era and is one of the oldest and most traditional bazaars in Adapazarı. At the same time, it is considered the city’s most important commercial centre and plays an important role in the shopping life of Sakarya’s residents. Its historical origins and its role in trade invite you to consider history and shopping as two sides of the same place.

Orhan Cami and an Announced Market

Tarihi Orhan Cami is now a new building. It was built when Adapazarı was still a village and dedicated to Orhan Gazi. The building’s present form and its historical context therefore belong to different periods. The mosque is accessible via a paved road; check the current access arrangements before your visit.

A municipal announcement dated 22 June 2026 announced a large-scale market every Tuesday under an agreement at Ozanlar Kapalı Pazar Yeri. The plan was for the market to serve all of Adapazarı as well as Ozanlar. As this is an announcement, it is advisable to check whether the market is currently operating before your visit.

Find the Right Holiday Apartment for Your Trip

When choosing a holiday apartment in Sakarya, you can start by considering which of these interests you want your trip to focus on. If green space and activities are your priority, include Kent Park and its walking and cycling options in your plans. If you are particularly interested in trade history, the museum and Tarihi Uzun Çarşı offer different historical and contemporary perspectives. If you also plan to visit Tarihi Orhan Cami or the announced market, take the relevant visiting arrangements into account. Then compare the locations of specific holiday apartments with your own plans, so that your accommodation suits the places you want to explore.
