The Bangladesh Tourism Board describes Inani Beach, also called Enani Beach, as a beach about 18 kilometers long in Ukhiya Upazila. For a walk, it is therefore worth distinguishing between sandy stretches and stony areas, and planning to wear sturdy footwear when walking among the stones. The description of the coastline alone says nothing about current swimming conditions; check local guidance and the weather.

There are pools of water among the stones where, according to the tourism board, small fish, crabs, and snails can be found. This offers more to observe than the broad shoreline. Do not touch or remove the animals; moreover, a single observation does not establish that they are present all along the beach at all times. Schedules, fares, and journey times are not fixed features of the destination and should be checked for your specific travel date.

A simple distinction can help when looking for accommodation: Inani works as a base if beach walks, the rock formations, and quiet observations by the water shape your daily plans. Cox’s Bazar can be a useful regional base if you want to visit several destinations or arrange onward travel. Compare the actual location of the accommodations on offer, since the name Inani alone does not tell you how far a property is from the beach section you want to visit. Amenities, availability, and the possibility of arriving independently must also be checked for each individual listing.

More experiences along the coast

In September 2026, the state news agency BSS reported simple rope nets strung between casuarina trees in the Sonapara area of Ukhiya. Visitors used them to sit or lie in the shade after a visit to the beach. This report concerns a specific place and time; it does not guarantee that the nets will still be in use when you visit. If you are considering an excursion there, check the location and current availability, and take care of the trees.

BSS also described areca palms along stretches of the coastal road and near Inani Beach. These plantings give the drive through the district a different landscape from the open beach. Another report mentions red crabs on parts of the beaches at Inani and Himchari, while also noting their decline due to disturbance. Keep your distance from animals and do not drive on sensitive beach areas. This makes beach walks, brief wildlife observations, and regional drives distinct, easily combined travel ideas—without promising an animal sighting or the availability of any particular facility.
